HOW IT WORKS
The Example family subscribes to a package of 15 hours of legal assistance in 2015. In 2015, Jana’s daughter is getting married, and she is interested to know more about legal requirements of this step, not only in the area of her rights and obligations, but also in the area of property. She spends 2 hours on the consultation.
Her parents want to give her a piece of land as a gift before the wedding. The consultation regarding the legal consequences of gifting this piece of land to their daughter, to both spouses or to “BSM” will take another hour of the prepaid time. Based on the decision of the parents, the office will prepare a contract, a proposal for a deposit and the entire gift process, including proceedings at the real estate registry. Two hours will be deducted from the prepaid time.
Cousin Anna has a problem at work with her employer, the family wants to help her and therefore arranges a consultation for her. After an hour-long legal consultation, Anna understands her rights much better.
The Example family did not need any additional legal services in 2015, so they have 9 hours of legal assistance left for the next period. Thanks to the prepaid time, the family is guaranteed legal assistance, while there is no time limit by which this legal assistance must be used up.
In three months, they use up 15 hours due to a lack of planning for extraordinary events and there is a consequent increase in need for more legal assistance. Subsequently, the company pre-pays a package of 40 hours, of which it uses up another 20 hours in 2012. They spend 5 hours in 2013 and in 2014 they don´t need any legal assistance. Thus, they have 15 hours of legal assistance available for future need.
Compared to the fixed price list, the company saved 17% of the total price for legal services.
